VACANCY – Relief Cook

We are looking for a term-time relief School Cook to cover the absence of our Cook, starting on Monday 6th January 2020.

This employment will be on a casual basis and will initially be for the first two weeks of the spring term, with the possibility that this will be extended for further weeks.

You will be required to produce hot and cold food in accordance with menu requirements, food safety & hygiene standards and carry out the administration work associated with working in a school kitchen. 

• Experience of working in a school kitchen is desirable.
• Hours of Work: Monday – Friday 9:am – 2:00pm
• Rate of Pay: £9.74 per hour

The successful applicant will need to hold a Food Hygiene Certificate

We are committed to safeguarding children and the successful applicant will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, and will be assessed against the Childcare Disqualification Regulations.
