What a phenomenal performance by the Juniors in Edith's Wartime Scrapbook, an emotional roller coaster with some real laugh out loud moments followed by irrepressible emotion that touched everyone in the audience. There were some amazing stand out performances but the Year 6 boys deserve a special mention the moment they were all sat on the steps singing was a simply beautiful and unforgettable moment and when James delivered the "Ode of Remembrance" at the end it was incredibly moving, I have heard that speech many times and haven't ever been as moved as I was then. An enormous well done to every single person involved.
Thank you Claire. I agree, it was a very emotional performance with some very poignant moments. It was amazing how the pupils connected with the story and this period of history. As ever, your feedback is really valued and I will pass it on to colleagues.
Thanks again.
